Chubb has promoted Ben McGregor to the role of Head of Property APAC & Japan for its general insurance business, effective from December. 

He will move from Sydney to Singapore and report to Regional President of Asia Pacific Paul McNamee.  

Mr McGregor, who has been Property Manager Australia & New Zealand since 2018, will be accountable for underwriting and portfolio management across Chubb's property line of business in Asia Pacific and Japan. 

"Ben is a seasoned property insurance professional. With his proven leadership skills and commitment to underwriting excellence, Ben will be pivotal in ensuring we capitalise on the many growth opportunities across the region,” Mr McNamee said.  

Joining Chubb in 2002 as an underwriter in Perth, Mr McGregor later became Property Practice Lead Southern Region. He was also formerly CGU Property & Casualty Underwriter for almost five years.
