Chubb Australia & New Zealand has promoted Michael Babington to the role of Head of Claims and Simon Priebbenow to Chief Risk Officer.

Sydney-based Mr Babington joined Chubb 10 years ago as a Claims Specialist, Financial Lines, and was most recently regional Casualty & Financial Lines Claims Manager. He has overseen many complex claims, Chubb says, and now takes on responsibility for the entire claims operation across Australia and New Zealand.

Mr Priebbenow, also Sydney-based, has worked at Chubb since 2004 in claims leadership positions in Australia, Latin America, Singapore and Manila.

Chubb Country President Peter Kelaher says the appointments are “testament to the depth of talent we have in this business”.
