Steadfast-owned strata specialist CHU Underwriting Agencies has appointed David Gow as Head of Claims, taking over from Andy Martindale, who takes up a new role as Steadfast Claims Solutions CEO.

Mr Gow was most recently head of property claims at QBE. He has worked in property claims for more than 30 years, holding various positions across all policy classes.

He commenced his career at IAG working in claims and loss adjusting and then worked with Cunningham Lindsey as a loss adjuster and regional manager.

“The Head of Claims is a critical role between CHU’s operations and our clients to ensure that key client needs are met and, where possible, exceeded in the claims process to deliver on our promise,” CHU CEO Kimberley Jonsson said.

She says Mr Gow’s knowledge of the insurance industry and proven track-record in claims are ideal attributes to support CHU’s customer focus and claims experience.
