Chartis manager wins Peter Corrigan award

Chartis multinational accounts specialist Ben Vale has been announced as the winner of the 2010 Peter Corrigan International Exchange Award.

Mr Vale, who is Manager of the Chartis Multinational Accounts Producing Office, received a $5000 prize sponsored by Finity Consulting to support his plans to study the potential growth of alternative risk management insurance solutions in the Asia-Pacific region, including up to four weeks in his chosen country of study.

The award recognises and supports talented young insurance professionals to develop leadership abilities and international business links in Australia, NZ, Japan and other parts of Asia as well as the Southwest Pacific.

Supported by the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance, the award honours the memory of highly respected industry figure Peter Corrigan, who died in 2002 aged 46.
