Chartered Secretaries Australia has launched an Advanced Certificate in Risk Management.

The course will be offered online initially and will include components of organisational governance, according to CEO Tim Sheehy.

It suits people pursuing careers in professional risk management and governance professionals seeking to broaden their risk management skills, he says.

Australian and overseas risk experts have contributed to the course.

“It approaches risk management as a discipline exploring intent, process and practice, while teaching international-standard methodology to give students the practical knowledge and skills they need to effectively carry out their duties,” Mr Sheehy told insuranceNEWS.com.au.
