CGU has been honoured in the inaugural Best Customer Experience Companies List, run by consultancy Fifth Quadrant.

It took top spot for its work personalising and streamlining customer service for SMEs.

CGU led the way across three components: the scale of its customer experience initiatives, votes in a poll of consumers, and adherence to a Fifth Quadrant maturity audit.

Chief Commercial Officer Ben Bessell says CGU is delighted to receive the award.

“We will continue to improve our customer experience by getting the basics right and also investing in customer insights and technology, so we can help our customers see it through when they need us the most,” he said.

Bupa, Inventium and Telstra also received honours in the list.
