CGU seeks movers and shakers

CGU is bringing some added fun to its rap-based national advertising campaign with a call for entrants to “Bust a move with Gary”.

The competition revolves around aspiring actor “Gary”, who won last year’s CGU competition with a video based around a fictitious bricklayer. His winning rap was turned into a TV ad for this year’s CGU campaign.

Now CGU is inviting entrants to invent dance moves that reflect work-based actions, video them and send them to a special website. It is also asking members of the public to vote.

“It’s a fun way to engage with the brand,” CGU Corporate Affairs Manager Iwona Polski told insuranceNEWS.com.au. “The campaign is aimed at SME businesses, and we’re hoping we get as good a response as we did last year.”

The competition closes on August 6. Details are at www.bustamovewithgary.com.au.
