CGU presents AR awards
The achievements of CGU’s leading authorised representatives (AR) have been recognised at the group’s national representative conference.
The event in Queenstown, New Zealand, was attended by 150 delegates and their partners.
Head of Sales and Distribution Andrew Beer says it gave ARs “the opportunity to further build some of their key business skills, with the aim of using these to grow their business”.
The awards ceremony was held at Mount Soho Winery in Arrowtown, where Geelong-based Impact Chapman Welsh Insurance Services was named national AR of the year.
Grant Reid, director of Quest Insurance Services in Gatton, Queensland, was named young AR of the year, while achievement awards were presented to Roger Edwards of Roger Edwards Insurance Agencies in Taree, NSW, and Allan Price of Allan Price Insurance in Kadina, SA.
GWP Award Winner for Victoria was Impact Chapman Welsh, while Shelton Brown Insurance Services of Launceston took the accolade for Tasmania.
Toowoomba-based PMA General Insurance Agencies won for Queensland, and Butler and Butler of Victor Harbor the SA award.
Dubbo-based John & Trish Morris Insurance Services was the NSW and national winner.
