CEMAC recruits before growth spurt
Plant and equipment specialist underwriting agency CEMAC has made several appointments as it prepares for a major expansion.
Norm Verity joins as National Manager, having previously served as national technical services manager for Master Builders Insurance Services and engineering national retail manager for CGU.
CEMAC, an authorised representative of Austagencies, will open a new office in Victoria next week.
The new State Manager Victoria is Keina Tiaon, who was previously Victorian operations manager at QBE-owned UAA and has spent eight years specialising in contractors’ plant and machinery.
Product Development Manager Victoria is Brenton Mann, who was previously Lumley’s Victorian senior engineering and construction manager.
In NSW, CEMAC has appointed Stephen Borg as Product Development Manager. He has 38 years of insurance experience, most recently at UAA, and spent the past four specialising in contractors’ plant and machinery.
In Queensland, the new State Manager is Stuart Donnelly, who previously headed the NSW branch.
Queensland Product Manager is Trent Rogash and Underwriter Katrina Hogan has been recruited from UAA.
Brendon Kropp has moved to Perth from the NSW office to establish the company in WA.
