Casey on the double

Casey Fenton from Integra Insurance Brokers in WA has scored a double in this year’s Steadfast/Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance academic awards.

She won the Young Insurance Professional Scholarship and the award for providing customer service.

The scholarship goes to an insurance professional aged under 35 who has shown excellence in the ANZIIF Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance Broking) course.

Ms Fenton won free travel to the convention plus registration and accommodation and a scholarship to pay for the rest of her diploma studies.

Bree Williams from Finn Foster & Associates in NSW won a one-off award for winning in every module over the past four years. This year she won the insurance products section.

The awards celebrate young professionals’ outstanding achievements.

Other module winners are:

Katey Milne (Trident Insurance Group, WA), insurance law and regulation for brokers;
Lachlan Birrell (Guardian Insurance Brokers, SA), claims-handling for brokers;
Tanya Marshall (Shadforth Insurance Brokers, WA), risk assessment and management;
Megan Clark (Intas Insurance Services, Tasmania), managing insurance broker operations.
