Brooklyn Underwriting has announced Acting Head Scott Jerome will take over the role in a permanent capacity.

Mr Jerome had been Acting Head since June 2 following Tim Fairbrother’s resignation after ten years at the helm.

Mr Jerome previously held the role of Operations Lead for Australia at Axa XL, the parent company of Brooklyn Underwriting. Before joining Axa in 2015, he held positions at Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Group and Aon.

“Scott brings a great depth of experience to the Brooklyn team and the [Head of Brooklyn] role, but what stands out most is his authentic approach to the success of our people and our business,” Brooklyn Underwriting said.

Mr Jerome says he is “lucky to be working with an amazing team” as he looks to “take Brooklyn into the future”.
