Brokers to attend skills academy
Elantis Premium Funding has launched an initiative with the National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) to provide intermediaries with education and development opportunities.
The Elantis Learning Academy will host speaker events featuring experts on customer experience, technology in business and the economy.
Elantis says the economic update sessions will be tailored to individual states and regions.
“As part of our commitment to partnering with our brokers, we’re looking at ways not just to provide premium funding for them but to… actually add value to their operations,” CEO Jurgen Rammesmayer told insuranceNEWS.com.au.
The sessions are free for brokers, by invitation only.
“It is part of a broader broker loyalty program where we reward our most loyal brokers, as well as brokers where we feel there is growth potential,” Elantis says.
“Elantis has partnered with NIBA to ensure continuing professional development points can be earned for attending the program.”
The scheme follows broker feedback indicating many would like to attend a “formal education and development program”.
The first session is in Sydney next month, when strategist Sean Hall will discuss ways of attracting and retaining clients in an increasingly competitive field.
There are plans to hold 8-12 events this year in capital cities including Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne and Brisbane.
Similar events will be organised in Auckland and Christchurch.
