More than 300 brokers attended the Underwriting Agencies Council (UAC) 2022 Sydney expo on Friday where 73 exhibitors displayed their wares.

UAC GM William Legge tells insuranceNEWS.com.au this year’s maximum covid-compliant quota of 80 exhibitors was almost exhausted and the day was a great success.

“We are very pleased with these figures indeed,” he said, noting that before pandemic restrictions the event hosted more than 500 brokers and around 150 exhibitors.

Mr Legge says a highlight of the day was hearing positive feedback from brokers, and comments that problems they had sought solutions to had been resolved with the help of the expo network, which gathered at the Hyatt Regency Hotel’s Maritime and Grand Ballrooms.

“It was delightful to hear,” he said.
