Broker Craig Anderson is taking part in the World’s Greatest Shave for the Leukaemia Foundation and will shave his head on April 17.

Mr Anderson’s team “Baldnthebeautiful” has raised almost $3,000 so far.

Every day, 47 Australians are diagnosed with a blood cancer and Mr Anderson, Senior Client Service Manager at Austbrokers, says the family of a close friend has been affected recently.

"This is just another way of showing I am there for him the people around him,” he says. "Please sponsor me to give families facing blood cancer the emotional and practical support they need.”

Donations fund vital research to help more people survive and improve quality of life. Financial assistance of $40 provides emotional support for families, $80 covers a night of accommodation for a family who must urgently relocate for treatment, while $145 funds expert research for a day.
