Dallas Booth has taken up his new role as CEO of the National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA).

Mr Booth, a lawyer who was most recently CEO of the Asbestos Injuries Compensation Fund, told insuranceNEWS.com.au his most immediate priority is meeting everybody within the organisation and working to get a full understanding of the issues facing NIBA ahead of a board meeting next week to discuss future directions for the organisation.

His experience includes time as Deputy CEO of the Insurance Council of Australia as well as implementing and managing the HIH Claims Support scheme.
