The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance is taking bookings for the annual Insurance Industry Awards on August 20.

The institute has received a record number of nominations for the 15 award categories, which include the insurer, broker and service provider of the year prizes.

The ceremony will be held at The Star events centre in Sydney.
