The Financial Services Council (FSC) has appointed AMP Financial Services MD Craig Meller as Deputy Chairman.

Mr Meller, who has been on the FSC board for five years, joins Schroder Investment Management Australia CEO Greg Cooper as Deputy Chairman.

Chairman Peter Maher, who is Group Head, Banking and Financial Services at Macquarie Bank, says Mr Meller “has brought his extensive financial services industry experience to bear in the formation of industry policy and leadership”.

Annabel Spring, Group Executive of Wealth Management at Commonwealth Bank, has been appointed to the FSC board, replacing former Colonial First State CEO Brian Bissaker, who resigned from the board in May.
