Former Ace Insurance Australian GM John French has been made responsible for the insurer’s Taiwan operations.

He is currently Country President for Hong Kong and Macau, a role he will maintain.

Mr French joined Ace in 1997 as state manger for NSW and Queensland.

In 2003 he became Australian GM before being made Singapore Country President later that year. He then became Thailand Country President before taking up his current role in 2007.
