Beazley has appointed Suzanne White to head its accident and health business in Australia.

Ms White, who joined Beazley two years ago, has extensive insurance industry experience including senior accident and health underwriting roles at Ace and Lumley Insurance.

Beazley expanded into the Australian accident and health market with the 2011 acquisition of Australian Income Protection, a specialist insurer of cover for superannuation funds.

Ms White, who succeeds Noel Nosworthy, is currently based in Brisbane and will move to the Sydney office by the end of next year.
