Chubb’s Vice President Strategic Marketing Paul Baldacchino is moving to Insurance Advisernet Australia (IAA) to lead its international operations.

Mr Baldacchino told insuranceNEWS.com.au the decision to leave Chubb after 15 years was difficult.

“But the opportunity to lead the entry of the IAA group into international locations provided the appeal to take the next step in my career,” he said.

IAA recently moved into the UK market by acquiring retail broker Worldwide Sports Insurance. IAA is also a majority shareholder in Insurance Advisernet NZ.

On the question of a replacement for Mr Baldacchino, Chubb Australian MD Mark Lingafelter told insuranceNEWS.com.au the company is currently working through a number of options.

Mr Baldacchino will leave Chubb on June 30.
