Ausure Insurance Brokers named its annual award winners at a gala ceremony on the final night of its Darwin conference last week.

The prize for fastest-growing branch went to Victorian regional business Ausure Insurance Brokers Gippsland, with runners-up Insure 247 of the Gold Coast and DPR Insurance Brokers of Euroa, Victoria.

Ben Price of Metsure Insurance Brokers won the QBE-sponsored young achiever award, beating fellow finalists Ryan Long of Ausure Beaudesert and Josh Legudi of Rutherford Street Insurance Services.

Ausure Academy student of the year was Jennifer Hall of Ausure Biloela, and the Mike Dunn Supplier of the Year Award went to Jacob Magennis of Allianz.

The Jim McIlveen Award of Excellence was presented to Ausure Insurance Newcastle, beating Ausure Dalby and Rutherford Street Insurance Services.

More than 220 people attended the conference at the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel.

The gala dinner was sponsored by CGU.
