The decision to send 80 Austbrokers executives, network partners, insurers and risk services professionals to California as part of an international education tour has been hailed as a great success.

The AUB Group program, at the University of San Francisco last month, focused on leadership, training, succession planning and business modelling for small companies.

“The provision of actionable insights and business tools is central to our ability to support partner businesses and their clients,” Austbrokers Divisional Chief Executive Nigel Thomas said.

Delegates worked on business design and benchmarking skills, talent identification and development, performance management and succession.

The tour coincided with the Austbrokers & IBNA Member Services (AIMS) annual conference in Los Angeles.
