Austbrokers’ award honours Frank Earl

Austbrokers has named four finalists in the inaugural Frank Earl Platinum Award.

The annual award, which is judged on the criteria of “growth, innovation, relationships, education and procedural effectiveness”, commemorates the memory of long-serving Austbrokers board member Frank Earl, who died last year.

The state winners are Graham Ballard (Strathearn), Queensland; Mark Hanna (Insurics), NSW; Victoria; Matt Kuc (Austbrokers Countrywide), Victoria; and Matthew Ward (MGA), SA.

The award judges assess the success of each nominated insurance broker, including how much their portfolio has grown over the past two years and what kinds of innovative solutions they are bringing to the industry.

The prize for each state winner is a $3000 travel voucher plus $1000 in spending money. Each winner will now progress to the national award judging, with the winner to be announced at the Austbrokers Conference on October 26.

The winner of the national award will receive airfares for two and accommodation to London, plus $5000 in spending money.
