Ray Carless has been appointed to the board of Austbrokers Holdings, replacing the late Frank Earl, who died in July.

Mr Carless has 34 years’ experience in the industry, including MD of reinsurance brokers Benfield Greig, and a directorship of a London-based global holding company.

Mr Carless is also currently Chairman of the Mortgage Insurance Company in Sydney.
