AUB Group has appointed Jordan Hawke, the former head of distribution at Suncorp Life, as its new life and financial services leader.

Mr Hawke has 25 years’ experience in the financial services industry, including roles at Tower Life, MLC and Legal & General.

AUB CEO Mark Searles says Mr Hawke will focus on building the group’s financial services business and seeking growth opportunities.

“The group’s life and financial services strategy has continued to progress strongly during the past 18 months,” he said. “This appointment will be a critical resource that will plan and deliver the next phase of the strategy.”

Mr Hawke says AUB is well positioned to grow the business and expand its services.

“Coupled with my experience and strong passion for expanding clients’ wealth and wealth protection, this position is beneficial to all,” he said. “It’s exciting times ahead.”
