ASIC to host workshop on First Nations customers
The Australian Securities and Investments Commission will host an industry workshop focusing on First Nations customers who have experienced financial abuse.
The free online workshop will allow members of the insurance, banking and superannuation industries to open discussions on the issue with experts and industry members.
The regulator says the event will examine community-led programs set up to inform financial services groups on approaching First Nation consumers.
The workshop is on March 14 from 1.30pm to 4pm AEDT.
