Arch Insurance Australia has appointed Lucy Wood as its new Northern Region Manager for its Accident and Health portfolio.   

Ms Wood will oversee the firm’s Queensland, NSW and ACT Accident and Health underwriting teams, reporting to Accident and Health Underwriting Manager Jarrod O’Connor.   

Ms Wood joins Arch from EY, where she served as a Senior Consultant. She also worked as an Accident and Health Underwriter at Chubb for five years and previously as a Business Relationship Manager at QBE.   

Mr O’Connor says Ms Wood is a “great asset” as the firm continues to build its relationships with brokers and partners.   

“Lucy brings a wealth of diverse management experience and Accident & Health expertise to the role,” Mr O’Connor said.  

“She is a well-known and respected underwriter in the sector and will play a central role in driving our accelerated growth in the Northern Region.”  

Ms Wood will be based in Sydney.
