Arch Insurance Australia has appointed Nick Wood as its new National Property Underwriting Manager, covering the firm’s Australian and Pacific lines.   

As part of the role, Mr Wood will work with broker partners to expand Arch’s growth strategy in the property sector.   

He joins the firm following a four-year stint at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty, where he served as Regional Head of Property for its Asia Pacific operations. He was previously AIG’s Head of Property & Special Risks for Greater China and Australasia, and held positions at Ace Insurance, Zurich and RSA.  

Mr Wood will be based in Sydney, reporting to Arch Australia’s Regional Manager, Dominic Brannigan and Arch International Head of Property, Paul Keeley.
