Arch Insurance Australia has named Daniel Khalil as a new Senior Property Underwriter.

Mr Khalil will be responsible for expanding Arch’s network distribution in the property sector, diversifying portfolios and acting as a senior figure in its property underwriting team. He will report to Property Underwriting Manager Sebastian Allison.

Mr Khalil joins Arch after 11 years at Allianz, including three years in a similar role. He has more than 17 years of insurance experience, having worked at IAG, Lumley Insurance and JLT Group.

“The relationships, expertise and energy he brings to the role will contribute significantly to our ability to achieve our short- and long-term goals for the property sector,” Mr Allison said on Mr Khalil’s arrival.

Mr Khalil is based in Sydney and began his role last Monday.
