APRA announces Brian Gray Scholarship winner
The Australian Prudential Regulation Authority has named University of Sydney student Nathaniel Deitch as the recipient of its Brian Gray Scholarship.
The $15,000 scholarship, jointly funded by APRA and the Reserve Bank of Australia, will help Mr Deitch research the effects of financial conditions on the conduct of monetary policy.
APRA provides up to four scholarships a year under the program, supporting honours or postgraduate students pursuing careers in financial or economic-related fields.
The award, named after a former APRA policy research and consulting EGM, has been given to Australian and New Zealand students since 2002.
