Applications open for Bright Light scholarship
The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) and TurksLegal have launched the annual Bright Light Award scholarship.
Individual applicants or teams of up to three members must pitch an idea or opinion that relates to general insurance claims to a panel of industry leaders.
The submission can be in the form of a short video of up to five minutes, a written essay of 600-1500 words or a voiceover of images in PowerPoint.
The winning entry will receive a $5000 cash price, up to $1500 to spend on coaching and professional development, plus an opportunity to work with ANZIIF and TurksLegal to showcase their ideas to the general insurance industry.
Finalists will be invited to a short discussion in the week of November 16 and the winner will be announced on December 2 at the ANZIIF General Insurance Breakfast virtual seminar.
