The Australian Professional Indemnity Group (APIG) WA chapter has elected Claire MacMillan as President.

Ms MacMillan, Special Counsel at Wotton + Kearney, recently returned to Perth to be closer to family after a stint working in Sydney.

She says APIG is engaging with local WA brokers, underwriters and insurance lawyers to develop a strong network across the state.

“There is a real appetite for more events and education with tailored content addressing issues unique to the WA market and importantly, the development of the WA financial lines community,” she said.
