This year’s Australian Professional Indemnity Group conference will feature sessions on pricing cyber insurance, challenges in professional risk claims management, workplaces of the future and threats posed by social media.

Zurich Australia CEO Daniel Fogarty will give the keynote address on the directors’ and officers’ (D&O) and professional indemnity (PI) markets, including cyber cover and innovative ways to manage risk.

Other panel members and speakers will include Zurich Financial Services National Financial Lines Claims Manager Susan Donaldson, Dual Australia Specialty Risks Practice Leader Jaydon Burke-Douglas, NSW District Court judge Judith Gibson and Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Human Capital Partner Juliet Bourke.

Registration is still open for the event, on September 4 at the Sofitel Wentworth in Sydney.

The group has also added sessions on the fundamentals of D&O and PI, aimed at junior and new entrants to the industry or anyone who wants to brush up on the basics. Tickets to these will be sold separately.
