APIG branches out to western Sydney
The Australian Professional Indemnity Group’s (APIG) NSW chapter will hold a seminar called Mind the Gap in Parramatta on Thursday, under a push into western Sydney.
The one-hour event will feature an expert panel discussing overlaps between professional indemnity and public liability policies, and the gaps in cover that may arise.
The panel comprises WR Berkley National Facilities Manager Christian Garling, Aon Risk Services Senior Claims Consultant Mark Perry, and Wotton + Kearney Partner Paul Spezza.
APIG NSW President Clive Davidson says a “substantial” number of insurance specialists are spread across greater Sydney.
“Recognising the need for continuing education in the industry, the NSW committee decided to launch an educational and social event series based in Parramatta,” he said.
The state committee aims to bring more events to western Sydney.
The Mind the Gap seminar is at QBE in Station Street from 4.30pm.
