APIG begins search for Frank Earl Award winner
Nominations are now open for the Australian Professional Indemnity Group’s Frank Earl Award.
The prize will honour a group member from the professional lines sector who conducts themself in a manner reflecting Mr Earl’s honesty, integrity and transparency.
Mr Earl died in 2010 aged 63. He played a leading role in the development of professional indemnity insurance and was particularly well known within the Australian and Lloyd’s markets.
Nominations will be accepted from underwriters, brokers, claims personnel, insurers and reinsurers, consultants, advisers and lawyers.
Other desirable qualities include leadership, innovation and creativity, plus a commitment to professional development, further education and mentorship.
The winner will receive a financial scholarship, plus an engraved trophy presented at the group’s national conference dinner.
Nomination forms must be submitted before August 14.
