Aon supports local charities in festive season

Aon is undertaking a Festival of Giving donation drive to support five Australian charities in the lead-up to the festive season.

This week, Aon will be making daily donations to Australian charity and community groups OzHarvest, Drought Angels, Aboriginal Literacy Foundation, Black Dog Institute and The Salvation Army, and inviting staff to contribute with cash or goods too.

“Amongst all the challenges we’ve faced this year, the generosity of our people has shone through. The Festival of Giving is our chance to pay this forward and further embrace the spirit of giving,” Aon CEO Australia Jennifer Richards said.

Each year, the Aon Charitable Foundation contributes at least $50,000 year to its charity partners OzHarvest, Conservation Volunteers Australia, The Beacon Foundation and Black Dog Institute, and creates opportunities for staff volunteering and fundraising.

Aon’s 2021 Festival of Giving is an additional initiative, recognising many charities need further funding support.
