Aon supports Invictus Games

Aon has announced its official support for the Invictus Games in Sydney next year.

It is also an official supporter of the Australian team at the games – an international event for wounded, injured and ill servicemen and women, founded by Prince Harry in 2014.

From October 20-27 more than 500 competitors from 18 nations will compete in 11 adaptive sports across Greater Sydney, including at the Olympic Park and Sydney Harbour.

“Many servicemen and women suffer life-changing injuries, visible or otherwise, while serving their nation,” Aon Risk Solutions Australia CEO Lambros Lambrou said.

“It was a simple decision to become an official supporter of Invictus Games Sydney 2018 because the event aligns perfectly with our values as an organisation. The competitors taking part in the games serve as an inspiration to all for their perseverance, commitment and passion, and we are enormously proud to play a role in bringing this event to Sydney.”

The partnership follows Aon’s announcement that it is supporting Paralympic Games gold medallist Curtis McGrath, also an Invictus Games Sydney 2018 ambassador.
