Aon Scholarship submissions sought
The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) is seeking applications for this year’s Aon Scholarship.
The winner will attend next year’s Aon Global Clients Reinsurance Seminar in London, or alternatively the Aon Hazards Conference in Australia, subject to travel availability.
Applicants must write a 2500-word essay on “The increasing complexities of reinsurance requirements”.
“With an opportunity to analyse the key issues significant to our industry, the Aon Scholarship gives our insurance professionals the opportunity to not only develop and network but also contributes to inspiring our industry,” Aon Reinsurance Solutions local CEO Robert De Souza said.
Last year, Swiss Re Engineer Adi Mehta submitted the winning essay, while Aon Catastrophe Analyst Chris Swann and IAG Flood Analyst Michaela Dolk were runner ups.
Applicants must be working in Australia, New Zealand or PNG until end June and have no more than a decade of experience in insurance. The winner will be announced in Sydney on August 25.
Applications must be received by July 1 and emailed to marise.maechler@aon.com. More details are available here.
