Australian and NZ insurance and reinsurance professionals now have the chance to win a trip of a lifetime following the launch of Aon Benfield’s 2011 Scholarship award.

Now in its seventh year, the scholarship recognises an outstanding professional working in the industry on either side of the Tasman.

Run in collaboration with the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF), the award is open to residents with at least two years’ experience.

ANZIIF CEO Joan Fitzpatrick says it is “a great professional development opportunity” for young professionals.

The winner will be flown to London for the 46^th annual Aon Benfield Global Clients Reinsurance Seminar from June 6 to 16.

Nominations are open until April 29 and each applicant must submit a 2500-word essay.
