Aon Hewitt has appointed Stewart Fotheringham to the role of CEO, Consulting, Asia-Pacific, while Steven Gaffney becomes CEO, Consulting, Pacific.

Mr Fotheringham was previously CEO, Pacific, and Mr Gaffney was Chief Commercial Officer, Australia.

They will be responsible for driving strategies in their segments, but with a focus on closer alignment with other Aon businesses.

Mr Fotheringham replaces Edouard Merette, who resigned to pursue other career opportunities.
