Aon foundation holds rugby clinic
Aon Charitable Foundation (ACF) and charity partner the Beacon Foundation hosted a school rugby clinic to celebrate Empower Results Day for Communities, Aon’s annual day of volunteering.
South Sydney High alumnus Tiana Penitani and other players from the Australian women’s sevens team faced the school’s year-eight students in a friendly game of Viva7s – a non-contact form of rugby.
“In partnering with Beacon and hosting this school event, we are living Aon’s values around creating opportunities for positive social impact,” ACF Manager Fiona Norris said.
The annual volunteering day is on Wednesday. Some 800 Aon staff have signed up to volunteer with charity and community organisations across the country.
