Aon cyber solutions head for Australia and region commences role

Newly appointed Aon Head of Cyber Solutions Asia Pacific Adam Peckman has started in his new role, based in Singapore, the broker announced last week.

Mr Peckman, who also retained his existing position as Global Head of Cyber Risk Consulting Practice, will drive business growth in Australia and the region as well as address new exposures in cyber security arising from the digital evolution.

Under his leadership, Aon’s Cyber Solutions in Asia Pacific will bring together cyber broking, security advisory, incident response and risk consulting capabilities across Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, Australia and New Zealand.

Mr Peckman has outlined his growth plans for the business, with a focus around “strengthening collaboration” across Aon’s cyber teams.

“At Aon, we are building these capabilities – around our Cyber Loop model – to deliver more integrated solutions to meet the complex needs of clients,” Mr Peckman said.

“Our focus on strengthening collaboration across the cyber solutions teams in Asia Pacific and globally will ensure we bring the best of our cross-functional capabilities to guide clients through the growing challenges of cyber security.”

Mr Peckman joined the business in 2011 and has held a number of senior roles in London and New York, including setting up Aon’s first cyber consulting practice in 2016 as the global practice leader.

His experience includes corporate governance, enterprise risk management, security risk assessments and quantification, as well as insurance strategy.

Head of Commercial Risk Asia Pacific Tracy-Lee Kus says a region-wide approach means Aon clients will receive “holistic cyber solutions” that address pre- and post-incident, cyber security, risk transfer and incident response.

“Our latest investment in the region reinforces Aon’s leadership in this sector and will enable us to offer differentiated solutions to our clients that help them make better decisions,” she said.
