ANZIIF unveils NZ award finalists
IAG, Vero and Willis Towers Watson are among the contenders in the annual New Zealand Insurance Industry Awards, to be presented in Auckland on November 10.
The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance, which runs the awards, says the scheme celebrates outstanding performance.
“This year’s awards recognise the highest achievers in the industry, but they also work to celebrate and highlight the contribution those in insurance make to the community,” institute CEO Prue Willsford said.
The finalists in each category are:
- Small/medium broking company: Frank Risk Management; Runacres & Associates
- Large broking company: Rothbury Insurance Brokers; Willis Towers Watson
- Direct general insurance company: AA Insurance; AMI Insurance; FMG
- Intermediated insurance company: NZI; Vero Insurance
- Life insurance company: AMP Financial Services New Zealand; Asteron Life; Partners Life
- Innovation of the year: Delta Insurance New Zealand; Konnect Net; NZI, Rothbury Insurance Brokers
- Service provider to the industry: Crawford & Company; Cunningham Lindsey New Zealand; JB Hi-Fi; Smith&Smith
- Professional services firm: DLA Piper New Zealand; Duncan Cotterill; Fee Langstone; Finity Consulting
- Women’s employer: AA Insurance; AMP Financial Services New Zealand; ANZ; IAG
- Young insurance professional: Amanda Cooper (IAG); Karl Guttenbeil (NZI); Eugene Sabitov (Willis Towers Watson); Daniel Walker (Partners Life).
