The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) will reveal on Thursday the winners of the Donna Walker Awards.

The Allianz-sponsored award celebrates excellence in leadership and was launched to honour Ms Walker, who died in 2019 during a tour of the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania, shortly after climbing Mt Kilimanjaro.

She was Alllianz’s Chief Technical Officer at that time.

ANZIIF says the winners will be revealed at its Women in Insurance Virtual Panel Discussion.

The panel discussion will discuss the role of technology, barriers to innovation and experience of gender bias.
