ANZIIF shakes up general insurance course
The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance has removed a human-observation assessment requirement from its Regulatory Guide 146 Tier 2 General Insurance compliance unit.
“Moving… from an observation-based assessment to an interactive online scenario allows companies to put a larger scale of staff through the course due to the unit’s accessibility, efficiency, time-saving benefits and learner centre design,” CEO Prue Willsford says.
Virtual scenarios, depicting actual cases, are developed by the institute with input from industry professionals.
The Tier 2 General Insurance Compliance General Advice unit is mandatory for professionals advising retail clients about general insurance products.
