The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance will hold its annual liability conference on October 30.

The event will feature expert presentations about increased reliance on AI, deepfakes and other AI risks, the prevalence of class action lawsuits, and food safety recalls.

Crawford & Company Australian liability head Derham Daymond, Liberty Specialty Markets crisis management assistant VP and Victorian branch manager Donna Niblock, Finity director Estelle Pearson and Gen Re senior claims executive Nicholas Zambetti have all been confirmed as speakers.  

“We are excited to bring together industry leaders to share their expertise on the issues currently facing the industry,” institute CEO Katrina Shanks said. 

The Australian Liability Conference will be held at the Hilton Sydney from 8am-6pm on October 30. 

Early bird tickets will be available until September 20.
