ANZIIF seals deal with university for credits

Members of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) with appropriate qualifications and experience will be able to gain partial credits into Deakin University programs under a new initiative.

If students meet the criteria, partial credit will be granted in the Victoria-based university’s Graduate Certificate in Insurance and Risk Management.

To gain the credit, institute members will need to have attained the level of senior associate certified insurance professional or higher through an ANZIIF diploma in general insurance, insurance broking, life insurance or risk management and have five years’ relevant experience.

The Deakin certificate course is the first stage of masters programs covering insurance and risk management, business administration with an insurance and risk management specialisation, or the combined business administration and insurance and risk management degree.
