The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) has introduced an online training course covering the Insurance Brokers Code of Practice.

It has also launched compliance training for the Life Insurance Code of Practice, in partnership with the Financial Services Council (FSC).

Adherence to the life insurance code becomes binding for all FSC members on July 1.

Content for the brokers’ course, which is voluntary, is drawn from real breach cases. It explains the code’s services standards and gives short case studies to improve understanding.

ANZIIF developed the course in partnership with the broking industry’s Code Compliance Committee.
