The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) is to host a roundtable series on gender diversity in insurance.

The events will focus on findings from the institute’s first Women in Insurance survey, to which more than 1000 women responded.

The aim is to present the survey results and engage insurance professionals on topics including women in leadership and career progression.

“The 2014 Women in Insurance survey indicated that women are not only eager to improve gender diversity, particularly at the top levels of the industry, but that they want to have a voice on matters that affect them,” ANZIIF GM Marketing and Insights Meg Hurley said.

Roundtable sessions will be held in Sydney on March 4, Melbourne on March 5, Brisbane on March 17, Adelaide on March 18, Perth on March 19, Auckland on April 14, Christchurch on April 15 and Wellington on April 16.
