ANZIIF raises $10,000 for SIDS charity
Insurers and brokers raised nearly $10,000 at the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) SA charity lunch at Adelaide Convention Centre.
The $9458 collected will go to SIDS & Kids SA, which provides education and support for families who have lost a child to sudden infant death syndrome, miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal death or any other accidental death.
SA police officer Kirsten McLoughlin spoke at the event last month about her work with families who have lost children to road trauma, and how SIDS & Kids SA has helped.
ANZIIF Corporate Communications Executive Steven Anderson says the institute was “overwhelmed” at the SA industry’s generosity. Last year the event raised $8000.
